What we do
The objectives of the Financial Planning Association of San Joaquin Valley
are to serve its members and the financial services industry, and to promote financial planning by:
1) Providing encouragement and opportunities for members to improve their financial planning expertise through training, seminars, conventions and other services.
2) Establishing and maintaining high ethical standards among its members by supporting the
Certified Financial PlannerTM
(CFP) mark and the canons of the Code of Professional Ethics.
3) Promoting financial planning as a profession to the pubic through seminars, media attention, and other communications so as to increase public awareness of the professional and the role it serves in our society.
